A Complete Town Reappraisal begins July 2016; Completion expected April 2018. Upon the recommendation of the Board of Listers, the $124,800 reappraisal contract was awarded by the Selectboard on April 14, 2016 to NEMRC; sufficient funds are available in the reappraisal reserve account to cover this cost. A complete reappraisal is a re-assessment of all town properties including;

  • interior property inspections
  • development of new land and building pricing schedules
  • adjustments and factors.

The goal is to implement new values for all properties that reflect 100% of fair market value. The last town reappraisal was completed in 2006. 2015 – Coefficient of Dispersal (COD): 14.51%

2016 – Current Level of Appraisal (CLA): 106.57%
2016 – Coefficient of Dispersal (COD): 11.57
